St. Joseph Hr. Sec. School is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to the Diocese of Kohima and managed by the St. Joseph Parish, Chümoukedima.
The school forms part of the saving mission of the church, especially for education in the faith. Guided by the educational policy of the Catholic Church, the school was founded to bring school education within the reach of the common man.
